Hi, Just another question, I've been thinkering with the new KDE and it looks promesing.
The remote desktop feature looks nice. Problem is that the client can't be called with the IP number the client gets but, offcourse, the Server IP and the session number. If I do that I get a black screen on the client taking over the display and see nothing. On the client pc taken over I see the mouse movements but that's no help when the client is on a remote location many KM's (miles) away. And you don't always now the session ID, or do you? Someone tested this to and had more luck then me?:-) When we can get compressed X in the LTS project we can think about using KDE of Gnome on a remote location over DSL.
