If you can, set your boot priority in Bios to "Network"->"C:" - I'd
expect the "local" boot of etherboot to work then.

You might try to play with 5.1.8 - I don't know wether the boot_disk
method used there is independent from BIOS solutions.

In 5.0.x, you would still have the chance to use an "etherboot menu" -
with CAN_BOOT_DISK and specifying "/dev/hda" as boot filename menu
option you should be able to accomplish a dual boot. At least for us
this works just fine - though I have to admit we use a self-made menu
(with 320x200 logo graphics and so) and not that included with
etherboot.
