Do I understand correctly that you want to run a program on a "text console" of the clients, in addition to the graphics console? Yes, it is possible, though a piece of handwork is needed. Look into the server's /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/inittab. The format should be explained in the manpage for inittab. To have e.g. the program /opt/ltsp/i386/bin/statuslist be executed on tty4 (Ctrl+Alt+F4 to go there, IIRC Ctrl+Alt+F9 to return to X screen), add this line: 4:5:respawn:/bin/startsess tty4 /bin/statuslist parameters for statuslist 4 is console, 5 is the runlevel... figure it out yourself. This is untested, it's a guess that this *could* work ( disclaimer :-) Best regards, Anselm Martin Hoffmeister Stockholm Projekt Computer-Service <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: INetU Attention Web Developers & Consultants: Become An INetU Hosting Partner.
