hello, yesterday i replaced our k12ltsp installation with gentoo+ltsp which gave us a really performace boost.
with the ltsp_core package installed in gentoo there's three PXE images, eb-5.0.9-3c905c-tpo.lzpxe, eb-5.0.9-eepro100.lzpxe and eb-5.0.9-rtl8139.lzpxe. in one of the machines i got a rtl8139 nic, so i tested with that one first and it workes fine. but in the rest of our thin-clients we have davicom9102 nic's, so i went to http://www.rom-o-matic.org/ and downloaded a default configured PXE image for these nics. i moved it where the other PXE images where, edited dhcpd.conf and restarted the daemon. but, when booting a thin-client i get the error message that no dhcp or proxydhcp was found. confused by that (since the i'm sure the daemon is running) i change back the to the rtl8139 PXE image, edited dhcpd.conf and restarted the daemon. ofcourse the client with the rtl8139 nic booted fine, while the others said rtl8139: no such adapter found (ofcourse). how can i fix this? -- Mikael Goransson, [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: INetU Attention Web Developers & Consultants: Become An INetU Hosting Partner.
