I'd say "probably yes". That is, i've used both the 27c256 and the 27c512 with no problems in places where I had previously used 27c128's. Some cards want you to configure the size of the eprom. If it doesn't go up to 512, then set your eprom programmer to 256 or 128 and program it using that setting. then tell the card which size you chose for programming.
