Hello Anselm,

You also have to
echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
to activate packet forwarding between interfaces.

This worked and now the client connect to the world. Thank You. But still can't ping.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ws02]$ ping assign.stanford.edu
ping: permission denied. (are you root?)

Check this as user "root"? Set permission so that root can execute
"ping"?

The problem is the client don't let me log in as root:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]# telnet ws02
Trying 192.168.0.4...
Connected to ws02 (192.168.0.4).
Escape character is '^]'.

Linux 2.4.21-ltsp-1 (localhost) (1)

login: root
Password:
Login incorrect

Why?. This is a problem for me as when I want to reboot one of the clients I need to go to the room where they are and do a hard boot.

The permissions on ping are anyone can execute:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]# pwd
/opt/ltsp/i386/bin
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]# ls ping -la
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 7 Jul 4 14:57 ping -> busybox*
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]#

Thank You,

Kakao.
