FYI, this is more a etherboot-users than ltsp-specific question. Never
mind.

I'd try to format the floppy disk before writing that etherboot image
onto it. Using msdoze format is just one way for it - without reading
the man pages. The error you describe means IIRC the 2nd/3rd sector of the
floppy can not be read, due to malformatted or defective floppy disc.
