Hey, guys.
I'm having problems with several AMD K6-2 processors at a client's.
They fail right after the pivot_root with several "illegal instruction"
errors.

I've booted one with INITRD_DBD to stop it before the pivot_root. I can
mount the root filesystem fine, but I cannot run anything on it. An
Intel PC on the same LAN works fine.

The RedHat 9 install CD boots into rescue mode just fine on these
machines, but if I mount the rootfs I get the same error.

I've checked the MD5 signatures on libc.so.6, and Jim tells me that the
libs were definitely compiled for i386.

Can anyone offer any suggestions for fixing this?

Thanks,
-David
