Yeah, I already suggested this to Jim. It works quite well for the
Etherboot list, most of the spam is blocked by doing this, the spammers
love their HTML mail, but as far as I'm concerned HTML mail is for
lusers. I also added a ban on Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64.
So when are you going to do something Jim? You can make all those
wannabe volunteers co-admins of the list if you are concerned about the
workload. It's better than moderation because it only occasionally
blocks a legit post (then you can berate the luser privately with the
mailman form), the plaintext mail goes through without any need for
examination.
