OK, it's called "routers", my fault. You have it.

Obviuosly (from dhcpd.conf) your ltsp dhcp server is gateway at the
same time. Does it have any firewall roules?
What about xdm permission settings on that non-reachable host, do they
possibly only permit connects from your .88.x subnet?
