What I do is at the LTSP client while running in the X session launch a terminal and give command "vncserver" This starts the server. Then at the same client I give "vncviewer &" command and the viewer is launched as a window within the same X session. On any other client also you can launch terminal and give "vncviewer &" command to launch. > I think now to use VNC to take the control of some station when i whant, > so i think that all station at startup can launch the VNCServer, i just > know the ip addr i can take the hand of the station when i whant (there > is a password so all is find) > To take command of already running X session at a terminal is not possible with VNC to my knowledge but if I am wrong I would sure like to know how this can be done. -- Sudev Barar <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: VM Ware With VMware you can run multiple operating systems on a single machine.
