Hi,

I've got an LTSP setup at home that my parents use, at the moment just
have one terminal, but have a number more boxes to connect.

Anyway, setup is Redhat 9 with all the latest versions of LTSP packages.
I have small form factory Compaq Deskpro's which use PXE to get
etherboot. But all this side of things works perfectly, and the whole
setup worked almost flawlessly for around 3 months but now I'm having a
strange problem.

After a day or so of running, and people logging in and out of the
terminal it starts to misbehave.

It will let you login but then the screen just goes blue (as if it is
about to start to load the desktop environment) and just sits there
forever, the splash screen for KDE never comes up (Gnome does not work
either). If I reboot the terminal it makes no difference. However if I
reboot the server it will work. I can't see any processes running which
shouldn't be on the server, so it seems perhaps to me that it could be a
display manager issue. I am running the standard GDM which comes with
redhat 9.

Since the gdm config is huge and I'm not sure where could be wrong i've
posted it here:

http://obsolete.co.nz/gdm.conf

Thanks in advance

Campbell
