DC's menu (in the web interface) will only show users that are members
of the icafe group. However, if you use the backend tools on their own
you obviously have no such protection - and it is then possible to put
invalid data in the database.
This is extreme programming, the underlying tools do one task, and only
one task and do it well (meaning it will do anything) it is up to the
GUI to ensure that only sane values are sent to them.

BTW. Just to brag a bit, the February Issue of LinuxFormat included the
very first publicly released version of DC on it's CD/DVD - that version
was 0.1 and it was still called AJ's Internet Cafe For LTSP -
considdering how buggy and incomplete that one had been, I was even more
proud of the recognition.
And while I am at it, a little thank you not to everyone who has
contributed to the project, especially those who worked on translations.

There is actually a new version out, but as yet unreleased, which has
some new features created in Delphi (lazarus to be exact) - I have sent
copies of those source files to my current translators to add, and as
soon as they are finished with them, I will release the new version.

Do not try to think outside the box. That's impossible.
Instead only try to realise the truth....There is no box.
