Hello all,

I am setting up LTSP based network with printing services using Mandrake
Linux 9.1. I'm configuring different brand and model of printers using
PrintDrake and I believe it's using CUPS and foomatic. The printers are
attached to the workstations.

My problem is, I only have to assign one (1) default printer for the
entire LTSP network and everytime a user prints, the output goes out to
the default printer eventhough the user chooses a printer that is near
to their place in the printing settings, like in OpenOffice. How can a
user print documents by just simply choose a printer they would like to
print and that is near to their place?

I also noticed that when I tried to print a PDF document on Adobe
Acrobat Reader 5, it can't choose a printer where to print the
document. Well, it prints directly to the default printer.

My last question is, anyone's using the following printers and were able
to make them work in an LTSP setup? Can you guys share your experiences
with these printers?

[1] Epson EPL-5900L
[2] Canon BJC-2100SP

Thank you very much and more power to you!
