The biggest bottleneck turned out to be memory - 4GB with dual Piii 1.1GHz is pretty fast for 35 users. You should be able to support 160 rather well. The things to remember are: the additional load causes exponential deterioration - on a slow system, one more user can bring everything to a crawl; games - poker, chess are real processor hogs, at 100+ users, get a 1000Tx connect to the switch. don't forget to run verynice and look for old user processes. good luck, julius
