openmosix is OpenSource ;-) > utilization of CPU. I don't know on which server I have to install mosix > and ltsp_mosix (or openmosix) packages? i think you want to make load balancing within your 2 servers A and B? so in theory you would have to build and install a LTSP+OpenMosix kernel on yours two LTSP servers.... (you have to know how to build a linux kernel with a LTSP .config file and patch it with the oMosix file patch) so booting on the new kernel A and B will be able to exchange and migrate some process in order to balance the load.. in another hand with a LTSP_openMosix kernel tagged with mknbi you can make the LTSP client to boot on this kernel and reach the oMosix cluster... the clients boot on the ltsp+oMosix kernel and so become part of the cluster giving their processor to the whole cluster... BUT...i said in theory because to my opinion oMosix is not made to operate for process system purpose.. oMosix is a HPC cluster (high performance cluster for computing needs) it is not a HA (high availability) cluster for availability and redondancy needs... i'am using ltsp+oM for computing needs.. to extend easily the number of computing nodes (when you launch many computing processes they migrate on any nodes) , but i will not dare to use it as LTSP cluster... in order to load balance, i think i would prefer to have 2 XDM+NFS server and do the load balance with xdm broadcast (as said some weeks ago in this list) i can listen to other proposals ;-) ML i am > > Server A, where is LTSP installed, is OK about utilization, problematic is > server B. > > Thank you for answers. > > -- > S pozdravem > > -- > -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- > Ondrej Rusek > GYmnazium BOzeny Nemcove, Hradec Kralove > mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > web: http://www.gybon.cz/~rusek > =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek > Welcome to geek heaven. > http://thinkgeek.com/sf > _____________________________________________________________________ > Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
