I think so. I have installed a w2k ts in vmware on a rh 7.2 with 2x850 mhz PII and 1gb memory. We don't have that many clients then (but the uses a lot of programs on the wts -- ie. photshop and indesign) and gnome 1.4 on the server. I think we have had 7 clients at most, that's no problem. On job I've choosed to run w2k3 on a box for it self because Vmware ws. can't use more than 1gb ram, and you can't use more than 1 processor (or thread on Xeon) for the client os. The box's on job are Dell PE2650 with 2x2,4 ghz Xeon and 2gb ram. I have had 27 current connections on windows using eudora, word and IE and it didn't use more than 1,2 gb ram (and processor hadn't much to do either).
