hi i cant enable network boot using my rt8139 card. ive downloaded the zrom file for rt8139(10ec, 8139), put it in my nm27c256 rom, used software to enable the lan card's boot rom and configured bios to boot from network but the non system disk error is still there. ive tested this on 2 lan cards (both rtl8139) but neither worked. what setting/ procedure have i missed? are there any other etherboot images that also work with the card assuming the rtl8139 code is not compatible with my card ... i have experienced this with my cnet an983b card ... using disk it boots with an983b image but doesnt when i used a boot rom withthe zrom image. ive tested the card with a boot disk and it works. ive been dealing with this for 3 days and i cant figure out whats wrong TIA -- Joseph Syjuco <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Advanced Science and Technology Institute
