I have done two things, but there are other ways too: Get and boot knoppix Download a lilo image from www.rom-o-matic.org install lilo or grub using the image, onto the HD. OR get a floppy image from rom-o-matic copy to hard-disk as you would copy to a floppy (eg. dd) ie NOT as a file, but straight to the HD, which then boots just as a floppy does, loads LTSP kernel and you are away. This will erase everything on the hard-disk, but works fine.
