I have several ltsp terminals running here in my home, and galeon has been my browser of choice. My wife, however, has found a site that uses java, and she tends to leave her browser open to that site almost continually. The two java processes that stay running tend to suck the life out of the server (they end up consuming 60-70% of the cpu time on my 1.5gHz server with 1 gig of ram).
I want to setup her web browser/java to run locally on her machine (450mHz), and wonder if anyone else is running a light web browser (galeon, mozilla-firebird, etc) as a local app on any of their ltsp terminals. If so, what version are you running (i.e. which packages out there are compatible with the installed libraries of ltsp 3?) Thanks!
