No MX record. So this looks as if this domain is not intended to receive mail (though there is a smtp daemon running). Perhaps you use a mail transfer agent that does not use A instead of MX in lack of the latter.
Check your mailsoftware, as some RFC requests that the absence of MX makes A valid markers for the address of the mail-accepting software.
I'm pretty sure courier does how to handle this, btw.
