well, i have been trying to get this combination going, and encountered some rather silly problems i want to share with you : this systems has just an epia V 500 + 128 Mb of SDRAM in a serenity 2000 chassis. nothing more, nothing less
1- first of all get some decent memory ( apacer ). it won't work with any brand of memory 2- if there is no cd-station, HDD connected, then the power-supply seems to behave strangly ( system reboots itself, powerdown, etc) so i had to connect a CD-rom , and now it works OK 3- it seems that those ATX power supplies need some load, or they won't function properly lessons learned : look for another case ( cubid ) with external power supply and a dc-dc converter inside the case.
