Forget that previous question, answered it myself, got an earlier version of etherboot, works a treat. However.....
I'm now at the stage where the client is going into X, and I get this error,
(++) Using config file: "/tmp/XF86COnfig.1" Couldn't open RGB_DB '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb' (WW) VMWARE: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:0:15:0) found (EE) No devices detected.
Fatal server error: no screens found
Ok, I've done nothing in lts.conf to configure this, and yep that rgb
/opt/ltsp/i386/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb
don't exist. So I've been searching the ltsp.org site to try to find stuff on what a vmware client entry should look like. Unfortunately it seems that ltsp is sponsored by Vmware and whilst that's very nice, Vmwware tag there little promo onto each message so any searches for the string 'vmware' return lots and lots of unrelated stuff including every entry of the archive of this discussion list, DOH!
So if somebody could be so kind....
More TIA's
Pete
