Hello,

I just installed JBuilder 9 Personal on a Supermicro Server with Dual Xeon 2,2
GHz and 4 GB RAM with SuSE 9.0 (Linux 2.4.21-99-smp4G) and KDE 3.1

With only 10 Clients each running one instance of JBuilder the server is
getting into trouble.

Every instance of JBuilder starts multiple java processes. Memory usage is
only about 2 GB and nothing is swapped out. The bottleneck are the CPUs. They
have permanently about 50 % system and 50 % user load and clients are working
very very slow. top shows, that only the java processes are cpu consuming. We
need to run JBuilder on 30 Terminals, but we are far away from this goal.

Do your servers perform better with this or earlier Versions of JBuilder?

Is it possible/better to run JBuilder as local application on AMD K6-2 300
Clients with 128 MB RAM?
