I have ltsp installed on a Mandrake 9.2 machine and workstations
successfully booting from it. Now I want to change the DHCP ports to
1067/1068 so that I can connect the server to the LAN without disrupting
our Windows-based DHCP server.

I added the line

local-port 1067;

to dhcpd.conf and restarted DHCP, and booted a workstation with a
ROM-O-MATIC image with the ALTERNATE_PORTS option. It looks like the
initial DHCP request is detected and the IP address is returned, but the
workstation never gets past "Searching for server (DHCP)...". Here's the
requests logged in /var/log/messages:

Nov 19 06:36:12 ltsp_server dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:04:5a:67:21:8c
via eth0
Nov 19 06:36:12 ltsp_server dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 172.17.17.202 to
00:04:5a:67:21:8c via eth0
Nov 19 06:36:22 ltsp_server dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:04:5a:67:21:8c
via eth0
Nov 19 06:36:22 ltsp_server dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 172.17.17.202 to
00:04:5a:67:21:8c via eth0
Nov 19 06:36:42 ltsp_server dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:04:5a:67:21:8c
via eth0
Nov 19 06:36:42 ltsp_server dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 172.17.17.202 to
00:04:5a:67:21:8c via eth0

Perhaps I'm missing something in dhcpd.conf -- what are the 2 ports for?
Looks like 1067 is for UDP -- how do I configure port 1068 as well?

Thanks for any help, great software!
