I just checked two boxes: Compaq1(fast) and Compaq3(slow) Compaq1 shows "Starting internal PHY with FULL-DUPLEX" in the beginning and in the end of the boot Compaq3 shows "Starting internal PHY with HALF-DUPLEX" in the beginning and in the end of the boot Is this what you wanted to know? > > I want to force the NIC to use FULL_DUPLEX.
