Another quick update... If I log into my LTSP server with "Shopfloor" and then log into my 2 clients as "Shopfloor" the Iseries program will run on one of the clients at a time...but not both. I then tried logging out one of my clients and logging it in as "Administrator" but it still won't let me run another instance of the program.
How can I get this setup so that I can run multiple instances of the same program on multiple clients? -----Original Message----- From: Mike O'Toole Sent: Thursday, November 27, 2003 8:32 AM To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: RE: [Ltsp-discuss] Terminal Emulation Okay..here is a quick update. I have 2 users setup on my server. "Shopfloor" and "Administrator"....all my shop floor clients will be logging onto the LTSP server using the "Shopfloor" login. If I login directly to the server using "Shopfloor" the Iseries terminal emulation program runs fine. If I login to one of my clients it crashes. But if I login as "root" on my client it works fine??????????? What the heck is causing this??..Is it the UID of the user? I have installed and configured the Iseries client, and set the program to launch at startup for my LTSP logins. However, when I double click on it...it appears to launch but then nothing happens. If I log in as root, it works fine, which seems to tell me that there is a permission issue, but I can't see anything that would be causing this. Any idea's?
