Hi there,

I am pretty new with this X terminal setting thing. I manage to setup a
LTSP server with Redhat 9. My question is this, how do I setup an X
terminal from a normal PC (with hard disk an ethernet) to boot and seek
the LTSP server. I intend to set these terminals to use the server
Xfree86.

How do I install minimum redhat 9.0 to these terminal and then configure
it to seek the server for further bootup.

If you are "mike__" from the IRC, this question should have been cleared out in the meanwhile :-)

Setup a minimum local client and start instead of "startx" with "X -query your.server's.ip.address".

I suggest using rom-o-matic.net - Etherboot floppies though, as they make the harddisks useless. Less hardware, less faults.

Regards,

Anselm
