Hi Shan, I'm not totaly shure, about the 845GLVA, but the 845GV chipset uses the braodcom nic, wich needs the b44 kernel-driver. This driver is in kernel 2.4.23 only as experimental code available. So, it could be that you need to build your own kernel, to get this solved.
