Hi list,

I have a funny problem:

A test installation with one fine, new, fast and well equipped LTSP
server (latest K12LTSP) and quite old, slow and rarely equipped PC's as
terminals in a 100 Mbit/S network are working fine with one curious
exception:

As long as one is on the terminals in the main menues of openoffice (and
only then) the mouse is EXTREMELY slow (inacceptable). Everything else
works super.
Openoffice right locally on the LTSP server works fine.

When I boot the terminals as standalone LINUX boxes and then connect to
the LTSP server it works fine and also when I run VNC.

So it seems to have something to do with the combination of:

A) booting / running the terminals via network from the LTSP server

                       AND

B) using the main menues of openoffice.

Somebody an idea on this?!

Best regards

Manuel
