The problem is that the tg3 hardware is fairly new and fixes are being
added all the time, if nothing but to support new variants. The same
thing is happening with the Linux driver. Unfortunately more fixes for
the tg3 were contributed after 5.3.5 was released (in Nov 2003 it must
be noted). So you should get 5.3.6, or 5.2.3 (which was released after
testing 5.3.6).
