If LTSP-3 is working for you, then I'd stick with it.

LTSP-4 boots about the same, and the performance is about the same when
you run applications on the server.

LTSP-4 shines when it comes to setting up apps to run locally.  If you 
aren't doing that (most people aren't), then you can stick with LTSP-3.
