Hey all, Just a flurry of questions since I've started. I have my DHCP server, my LTSP Server, and my TFTP server all properly configured.
Everything is perfect until I move the thin client onto another subnet. It's boots with PXE fine until the point where's it's trying to NFS mount the root directory. The error message I'm getting is: (null)mount: nfsmount failed: Bad file number Potential errors listed are: - NFS server not running. - Checked it, it's up an running. - IP resolution fubar'd - Resolves fine on the ltsp server (both forward and reverse looks) - Wrong address for the NFS server - Visually verified on thin client to be correct - Wrong Pathname - double checked, but nothing has changed beyond my moving a network cable. Other potentials: - Network Connectivity - Verified by pinging from both sides of the network - No ACLS restricting communication. - iptables -L has ACCEPT on all policys Anything else I might have missed? --Pat ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
