Oops,  I guess it's a good idea to save the current lts.conf file
before running the installer again.  (/me makes note to fix installer)

Yes, we've had support for USB keyboards and mice for a while.
You need to load some modules to make it work.
Here's an example:

        MODULE_01          = usb-uhci
        MODULE_02          = keybdev
        MODULE_03          = usbkbd
        MODULE_04          = mousedev
        MODULE_05          = usbmouse
        X_MOUSE_DEVICE     = /dev/input/mice

You might need to change usb-uhci to usb-ohci to suit your needs.
