Hello.
Often in this list {or my friends} people have problems with %SUBJ.

They are using mtools & mtoolsfm & they wanna to read & write from/to floppies.

So 4 every1 [using ltsp 3.0/3.x]:

1. read http://www.ltsp.org/documentation/floppyd.html

2. and don't forget
*************
[ws001]

...

RCFILE_01 = floppyd

For each user who needs access to the floppy create a .mtoolsrc file in your home directory with the following line:

drive a: file="$DISPLAY" remote 1.44m mformat_only

If everything up to now has gone well, you should be able to type the following with a diskette in the drive:

mdir a:

You should see a directory listing of what's on the diskette. *************

TNX to Scott 4 this manual.

3. If UR using debian, just apt-get install mtools mtoolsfm & UR ready to go.
[then run xterm & MFtools - case SENSITIVE!]

That's all it's too simple.

Peter
