James;

While this isn't my area of expertise either, I ran
across a recent article about how to do this:

    http://geekspeek.org/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=29

The screen script for it appears to be for use when
starting the computer as a windows terminal, rather
than starting rdesktop in a window. Puzzling that
the screen.d script starts it with "-u ${HOSTNAME}",
which says to use the hostname as the Windoes userid.
It would only work if the hostname was set to the
userid of the person logging in.

It appears that from the command line, rdesktop
should be started like one of these three:

    rdesktop 192.168.1.10
    rdesktop -u {username} 192.168.1.10
    rdesktop -u {username} -d {domain} 192.168.1.10

Hope this helps,

Tom
