I have installed succesfully a LTS, now I would like to configure a sound server
I read the manual and I get the following message when I start my work station:
Sound Server running
So, I tried to run xmms in my work station but the sound goes to my server sound card always,
What should I do to get the sound in my client sound card?
You did export SOUNDSERVER (or alike) from .bashrc, or whatever shell you are running, to point to your tc, as mentioned in the docs?
Albeit, I can't remember, xmms would work, AFAIR it's not nas aware, there's a plugin but it didn't work for me at all. I'd try out mpg123, which works fine and astonishing realplayer works in addition via nas.
