Hi There I have tried to upgrade my kernel in ltsp-4 from 2.4.22-ltsp-2 to 2.4.22 (want ppp support in order to use my palm pilot).
When I do so, the system boot just fine, X starts, I can log in, and so on, but when I try to print (lprng on server, lp_server on client) it fails. The printer recieves data, but the buffer inside the printer is not flushed, so the print job never starts. Both ps and pcl fails (the printer accepts both formats natively). Works just fine using stock kernel. Have even tried to make my own kernel from the config file in initrd-kit-15 without changing anything. Same problem :-/ Any hints/clues are greatlt appriciated Regards Thomas, Denmark ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
