Hiya folks,

This is my first post to the LTSP list and my first LTSP installation.

I've got the exciting job of setting up 40+ thin-client workstations and a
server for a client. I know LTSP can do it, but I've never set up LTSP
before.

Using Chris Micacchi's HOWTO,
  <http://csgrad74.math.uwaterloo.ca/~cdmicacc/netvista/Netvista-HOWTO.html >
I've been able to POST the 8364, secure an IP via DHCP, and boot to
Micacchi's 2.4.21 LTSP kernel. I had problems with X until I configured XFS
to allow remote connections. I am using the fbdev server because the X
server included in LTSP3 doesn't appear to have a "nsc" driver or, at
least, I could not get X working with it.

Now, I am sitting at the GDM login and the keyboard is all messed up (yes,
that's a technical term). None of the keys send what you'd want or expect
them to send. A lot of keys appear to send two characters - one when you
press down and another when you let the key go.

The mouse (a Logitech PS/2 wheel mouse) doesn't do anything.

The NetVista BIOS setup facility works fine with the keyboard and
recognizes the mouse.

Any hints?
