Only one way to deal with this Samuel, dump SiS cards as most of them do not work under Linux ( especially the generation which came when P-1 166 was the "latest" I found replacing these with second hand S3 / CirrusLogic cards the way out but make sure they have atleast 2mb VRAM. -- Sudev Barar Learning Linux
