Hi,
I've got one PC with built-in graphics here I'd like to take as an LTSP terminal. It's got a built-in graphics chip (simple Cirrus chip) and would need more graphics RAM. The built-in graphics card cannot be deactivated.
So I stuffed in a Matrox card, and this takes over the graphics at once. Under the Win98 still on the HD it is even offered that you use the built-in Cirrus for a second monitor.
When LTSP boots, it will try to get into the Cirrus graphics mode. I had to change, however, the value for the XSERVER to auto, as I wanted the Matrox card to be used (the Cirrus chip needs SVGA or so).
Is there a way to tell the server to contact the Matrox card only or to tell it to contact both cards but use the Matrox card only? I didn't find any way to do this in the documentation. Can I give two XSERVER lines or is there a way of giving it two options relating to two different displays or whatever?
It would be just nice to have that PC as a terminal, would just be a pitty having it to throw away.
Rolf
