Hi All,
Recently I managed to get my hands on a thin client that connects to
Windows Terminal servers. It uses an 8M M-systems DiskOnChip to hold the
software to connect.
I have managed to get it to boot a 2.6 kernel from the chip and mount
its file system across NFS and use XDM to connect to an X terminal
server.
I have been doing a little research into finding an X Server small
enough to fit on the chip, so that the unit will boot and run completely
without NFS. I understand that KDrive will do this but I am finding it
difficult to find any useful documentation.
Has anyone got any suggestions on how I can do this? has anyone built a
client on a DiskOnChip?, or can I use a modified boot rom?
Any help would be useful.
Thanks
John
