Richard, Bill Cavelari did a bunch of work on LTSP for PPC. He's not commited it back to CVS yet, but I know there are tarballs available of the binary packages.
I think Eric Harrison put the tarballs somewhere on the k12ltsp ftp site, but i'm not sure where.
