It's not a university, but we've deployed LTSP in a K-8 school very
successfully.  They were donated Pentium 75's and ended up installing
one thin client per teacher's classroom as well as 20 thin clients in a
computer lab all connected to a dual PIII 800 with 1GiB RAM and 3ware
RAIDed IDE drives (iirc, 27 GB of storage).
