Hi there,

I recently installed ltsp4 with the install-script on a server with an
already working ltsp3. I did not use the lts-config-utility, as I didn't
want it to mess around whith my dhcp-installation et al.
Until now there is just a single client on 4, which works fine, except
that I cannont get a german keyboard-layout (well, I get something
similar by choosing a german layout in kde, but this is not possible in
e.g. windowmaker. And even then I cannot get a pipe- oder greater-sign).
This is the relevant part of my lts.conf:

        USE_XFS            = Y
        LOCAL_APPS         = N
        SCREEN_01          = startx
        SCREEN_02          = shell
        SCREEN_03          = telnet 192.168.111.253
#       XkbRules           = xfree86
#       XkbLayout          = de
#       XkbModel           = pc105
#       XkbSymboles        = de(pc105)

If I uncomment the xkb-lines, I get an error on the client during boot
(something like "can not find xfree86"). Then, it cannot connect to xdm
on the server (too many retransmissions).
If I comment out the xkbRules-line, it say something like "cannot find
'de'", and also fails to connect to xdm. So I had to comment out these
lines.

So I thought there might be some missing files. But if I compare
/opt/ltsp4 with the tar.gz-archives all seems to be there.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Alfred
