Hello there. I am a college student from the Philippines and we are trying to set up
an LTSP
server for our project. The project is a web-based application made from PHP. The
server
runs with mysql and apache.
The project involves the use of a device connected to the workstation. Question: how
can i
use a local device aside from the floppy in an LTSP workstation?
The story: we need to access from a workstation our web application coming from the
LTSP
server. at the same time, using the application, we need to access a device (known as
/dev/ttyS0 in the server) connected to the workstation. is this doable? we've already
experimented using the device if it is connected to the server, and we were successful
in
using it.
