Does the speed of the network card make any difference in LTSP?
Well, I found that it runs well on 10 mbps though it feels smoother on 100 mbps. That means, as long as we're only talking about popping up windows, everything looks a bit hesitating but is tolerable on 10 mbps, just as if the server was a bit overloaded.
Another reason might be that 10 mbps connections use half-duplex and 100 mbps connections mostly use full-duplex mode.
