hi folks,

i've a strange problem. After upgrading the servers mainboard from sis chipset
to intel 875 the server freezes completly if the client is booting. I'm not
using a standard etherboot rom image, i'm using the intel nics (the nic isn't
changed, it is the same card) boot manager and the pxelinux bootloader and my
own client kernel. The servers kernel is well configured, i'm absolutely
shure. Everything was fine till today.

The client gets his kernel, that works. The client kernel boots, that works.
The client kernel can't mount the root-fs, the server is freezed, the client
is doing dhcp broadcasts.

There are no hints in the logfiles. The nfs-server works well, no problem to
mount all nfs shares. Dhcp is working well, the whole server is working well.
I've no ideas and the server must work tomorrow.

Best regards
Christian
