Hi List!

After a few days of fiddeling around I finally got my 2.6.7 kernel booting
from the harddrive of my clients. Now I have a few questions:

a) Is it possible to tell the kernel on which port it should communicate to
the dhcp server, via a lilo append line (just like when booting completely
from the dhcp with the dport option)?

b) Is NFS Swapping possible with a 2.6 kernel? Can I apply the nfs swap
patch (LTSP 3.0 doc) to a 2.6 kernel (don't think so)? What do I have to
adjust in order to get it working again?

c) The X Server now complains that it can't create its logfile. I found out
that var/log isn't created on the /tmp ramdisk anymore. Maybe this is caused
by other errors though.

d) Which modules does LTSP need? I compiled nearly everything into the
kernel now, but I still get some module errors when booting the client.

Thanks for your time and best regards,
Chris M.
