Stan,

What version of LTSP are you using ?

LTSP-4.1 includes a 2.4.26 kernel, and it is installed in /tftpboot/lts.

LTSP-4 doesn't include a kernel, you need to use a LTSP-3 kernel, which
can be found at http://www.ltsp.org/ltsp-4.html.

For LTSP-3, look at http://www.ltsp.org/instructions-3.0.html.

We don't have 2.6 kernels yet. That is something that we are working on.

As for tftpd, it depends on what command-line args are being passed to
it. But, without knowing which distro of linux you are using, we can't
even tell you where to look.
